On the Sunday before the event began, we toured some properties and villages. We had go a tip on a really nice estate, where the Ravaut family were producing really good wines. The tip was correct. Great people as well. They owner spent the best part of 2 hours letting us taste about 15 of his wines.
Inside the Caves Ravaut - all pics were taken by Nikki using her iphone4S, and are suitably impressive. Not only the phone camera, but as you see below, a really nice pic that Nikki took, with contrasting light and shadow. She is the photographer in the family :-)
The Burgundy hills where it all happens
Some Porsche content, at the local supermarket. Who would have thought that we would have run into a 993 GT2, in a Leclerc supermarket of all places? I got Nikki to take a pic, just to prove that it happened and that I am not completely Porsche crazy so as to invent such a situation.
