OK, no posts in a while as i was otherwise engaged in prepwork and getting ready. Had valve job done and replaced rear calipers. Tuned carbs. Installed RS door panel (on drivers side only as I finished it last night late, and don't have the time to do the other one). Still have to see if I install the rennshifter or not. Anyways, tomorrow is D-Day. Head off in the rain to Dayton OH to meet up with Vasco Ricardo (flying in from Portugal) and Dave Conklin. Dave has arranged a tour of the taj ma garaj auto museum for us after hours, as we arrive late. The good news is that the weather is good from the Ohio Valley onwards. Its just the getting out of NY part.
We kick off around lunchtime or so, and hit the road.
