Dilse, a trad band with my little cousin, Sinead on banjo !!

Here is Sinead, my little cousin on banjo. She's part of a trad group of 13-18yr olds in Ireland, and they did a gig as part of the Temple Bar Trad Festival in Dublin last month. The kids are from all over, and they meet up in various towns in Ireland in order to practice and play together. Enjoy ;-)

Snowpocalypse Now

Ran into a bit of a snowstorm, up in these here parts ...
Buried the truck parked outside (not really buried ... bit of friendly hyperbole ;-)

Above is outside, looking up, with the doggy windvane at attention ...
Then looking at bushes by the garage, you see where the snow piles meet the snow on the branches of various flora

 

Out to the truck we went, and it was well covered

 

 This is the morning snow. Another 6-10 inches perhaps this evening, with 35mph winds.

 

and then i got to doing a little cleanup
